20-30 Seconds impression
What would you do if you only had 20 seconds to convince a CEO, VP, Brand Manager, Director of something you want?
Narrowing your ideas, transforming maybes into actions, asking what you want, presenting yourself are just some ideas to make a good and efficient elevator pitch.
- Step 1. Set the objective, identify your goal. What is it that you want other to know. Is it about you? a new product? a job you want?
- Step 2: Briefly explain. You can use experiences to show how you solve problems or help others. Say it like you mean it, try to create a feeling on the other person that will make them remember you.
- Step 3: Communicate your unique selling position. Identify what makes you, your product, your organization unique
- Engage: End with a question that will leave the person thinking and analyzing.
In overall it should last no more than 3o seconds, the shorter the better
When’s a good time to use it? Everywhere, anytime! You can use it to attract new costumers, present new ideas, even to present yourself to others. Don’t be afraid. Try these at home, practice it, memorize it because you never know when life’s going to surprise you.
