Old Stuff Day

March 2nd, 2015

Old Stuff Day is not about the trends of having old stuff back into use with a little twist (As I thought too) neither a day to do the same old stuff. Rather, it’s a time to recognize the boring nature of your daily routine, and make some exciting changes. Analyze what has become a routine, that activity that when you are done you think How did I do that? It can become like driving, walking, using the computer etc. In marketing a similar thing happens. We, as consumers, have an incredible mind capable of analyzing a lot of information unconsciously every day and by the repetitiveness of these actions we get used to them. So changing routines is a daily training that strengths our brain, our capacity of learning, staying awake, analyzing and more. Changing routines is a healthy habit that helps your brain stay in shape.

As a Marketeer we always need to be updated, we cannot stay with the same strategies, problem-solving thinking, trends etc. Change, dare to try something new and out of your comfort zone. So, find new and different activities, projects, and hobbies. Attend an event. Do something, anything, different. You will be glad that you did! Stay positive and open to any opportunity given to you, for now you may not understand the benefits but for better or for worse you will be grateful in the future.

Here are some tips I found useful in the internet!

Always remember you can make something out of nothing!
